About Me

I got my start playing pretend in stage acting and stand-up comedy, and from the moment I discovered role-playing games, I have been trying to marry performance and play.

That first brush with Dungeons & Dragons (4e) at my local library led to what can only be categorized as an obsession with tabletop RPGs that still persists 15 years later. I discovered the joy of running the game and never looked back. Now, as a “forever GM by choice,” I do everything I can to share my passion for this incredible medium.

By what other magic can a group of friends gather, consult esoteric texts and strange oracular dice, and produce as if by alchemy a unique tale, which none of them could have created alone and none of them will ever forget?

My Philosophy

So much about this hobby is locked away in oral tradition and encrusted in outdated ideologies. My mission is to strip away the barrier to entry to what ought to be the most accessible hobby on earth—truly, all you need is your imagination. I want to inspire new people to try RPGs, new players to become game masters, and new game masters to try new games. We have the opportunity to create a diverse, inclusive hobby space that offers genuinely unique and singular experiences. I want to be a part of that!
